Magic Detox Salad

Today I’ve got a recipe for you, and it’s not just any recipe, mind you. It’s a magic recipe…well, okay, it’s not really magic in the abracadabra sense, but it will do wonders for your body! The foods I’ve used in this salad all support our glands (pineal, adrenal, etc.) and have amazing health benefits when eaten raw. Combining them creates an even greater effect and delivers a ton of nutrients to our bodies all at once. In addition to giving your body (and metabolism) a quick pick me up, it will help detox your liver. BONUS!! Trust me, it’s delicious, you’re gonna love it!

Magic Detox Salad

  • 3-4 oz. grilled chicken, sliced
  • 2 cups baby arugula
  • 3 stalks asparagus, cut into 1″ pieces
  • 2 radishes, sliced
  • 3 sprigs fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1/2 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green onion, sliced thinly
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 Tbs. EVOO

Okay, so there’s all the goodies that go in it. Make sure everything is washed, of course. I definitely recommend buying organic, if at all possible, but even then, make sure you wash everything well.

I always have grilled chicken in the fridge (meal prep people, ya gotta do it!) to make salads like this come together super fast. So, I slice the grilled chicken and warm it up in a small skillet with the EVOO, parsley and garlic. Once warmed through, transfer chicken into salad and toss. Enjoy!
